The 2018 most popular models are Apple iPhone, which historically is the world's largest selling product, with over 200 million units a year. Nothing else approaches.
But when we asked more than 1,000 consumers to hire the 2018 top tech gadgets, the iPhone did not even make the top 5.
US TODAY in an exclusive SurveyMonkey / poll survey selected Samsung's Galaxy S9 for the first 13 percent of the year.
The S9, the S8 successor of last year, is remarkable for a camera that can shoot under lower light conditions than the iPhone, expandable memory when all the photos and videos are "full memory" and able to shoot the video super slow.

The second place is linked with Amazon's Amazon FireTV Edition TVs, which offer channel switching and other features through Alexa's personal assistant. Amazon's price is very low, from $ 300 to $ 400. Best Buy offers a 42-inch version as a door lock on Friday's black for $ 129.
The new release of Apple Watch is also a 10 percent increase in Samsung Galaxy Note9, the Galaxy S9. Apple Watch, which costs $ 400, has a bigger, brighter screen than last year and automatically asks for help if the wearer falls – if he does not respond within 60 seconds.
Google Home Hub is ranked third with 9%. Home Hub is one of the three new loudspeakers of 2018 that brings video into the category of connected loudspeakers and is $ 149 lower than Amazon and Facebook's rival products. Google will lower the hub to $ 99 for the Black Friday weekend.
In the fourth place, there are two new iPhones – XS, last year's iPhone X 999 dollars and the larger XS $ 1.00.
IPhones are followed by Apple's latest newest product, the most expensive iPad, the $ 1,000 iPad Pro, choosing 7%.
Other consumer products include the cheapest $ 750 iPhone XR; the new, higher resolution Apple MacBook Air (4 percent); the Fitbit Charge 3, which boosts waterproof design to Fitbit by 3.3%, and the video portal of the Facebook portal adds up to 3%.
