VALDOSTA, Georg. – About 700 dogs were saved from "terrible circumstances" in a Georgian puppy mill.

The Atlanta Humane Society has released the backup on Facebook.

"These dogs lived in their crates all their lives – a tiny crate stacked on top of the other. Matted, wrapped in feces, has never been held or walked," the comment says. "Please open your heart, support these neglected dogs and save our lives today.

Once dogs are taken care of, they are accepted. For more information, contact the Atlanta Humane Society at 404-875-5331.
