LAKE PARK, Minn. – A 75-year-old Lake Park man died in an accident on U.S. Highway 10 when his pickup collided with a half on Monday, Nov. 23, at about 3:30 p.m.
The Minnesota state patrol said the man was driving a 2019 Chevrolet Silverado van and tried to cross the four-lane freeway from the Lake Park facade. He drove in front of a semi-trailer heading east that collided with his vehicle.
The man was taken to a nearby health facility.
The 2007 Peterbilt halftime was led by Duane James Klinkner (46, Staples, Minn.), Who was not injured.
The victim’s name is expected to be released at 10 a.m. on Tuesday, Nov. 24, the patrol said.
