A total of 3 people are being arrested by Wauwatosa police for shooting at the Mayfair Mall

WAUWATOSA, Wis. – A total of three people have been detained in connection with the Mayfair Mall shooting on Friday, according to Wauwatosa police.

WTMJ-TV in Milwaukee said police shared new information about the investigation on Monday after the arrest of a 15-year-old boy was announced the day before.

Monday’s update said three different people were arrested, including the alleged shooter. According to the WTMJ, one of the others was involved in the shooting, while at the time of the third person’s arrest he was a passenger in the shooter’s vehicle. Police believe the gun used to shoot was also found in his teenage vehicle.

Eight people were injured on Friday, although they are all expected to survive.

Investigators are working with the Milwaukee County Attorney’s Office to review possible charges against the detainees.

The investigation into the shooting is ongoing.
