A tube bomb found and destroyed on the RNC; The DNC was emptied

An explosive device was found at the Republican National Commission headquarters in Washington, and after the suspicious package was discovered Wednesday, the headquarters of the nearby Democratic National Commission was evacuated, according to three people informed of the findings.

The device found on the RNC was a tube bomb that was successfully destroyed by a series of bombs, according to an RNC official

The package on the DNC has not yet been identified with the Supreme Democrat informed in the matter, who was not authorized to speak about it publicly.

The RNC and DNC headquarters are just a few blocks from the U.S. Capitol, which Mr. Trump’s supporters stormed on Wednesday afternoon as Congress gathered to justify the victory of President-elect Joseph R. Biden Jr., and shortly after the president addressed the crowd near the White House.

As a crowd violated the Capitol, Vice President Mike Pence was taken out of the Senate Chamber and the building was kept closed. Shortly afterwards, Mr Trump tweeted that Mr Pence “did not have the courage to do what he should have done” because he did not try to reject the electorate.

In response to the riots, the Washington and Virginia National Guard were activated Wednesday afternoon.
