ARLINGTON, Texas (CBSDFW.COM) “Some Arlington small business owners filled the leftovers from their business on Wednesday, November 25, after Tuesday night’s EF-2 tornado.
Many say they have already struggled with the pandemic.
Joanna Ulloa has been the owner of the car repair shop Ulloa Monster Place since 2015.
On Tuesday night, he suppressed the storm inside and watched as the store crumbled before his eyes.
Now he says he can’t afford to fix it.
“We have already struggled with the crown (virus). We’ve had good and bad days, but it’s the worst day, ”Ulloa said. – This is the worst Thanksgiving day of my life.
Most of the cars he repairs come from all over the Metroplex.
Now he says he’s not sure what to say to customers as most are under the rubble.
Other shops in the area are suffering similar damage.
The drive in the Burger Box car is still broken, while Safe-Lite Auto placed boards on their windows on Wednesday morning.
Ulloa says the timing couldn’t be worse.
– I just can’t stand it, too much. Too much on me. Like mentally, my head is bad. How are we going to do anything? Ulloa said.
