A senior reporter for China’s state-funded business, China Daily, blew up Senate Marsha Blackburn, R-Tenn., On Thursday over his remarks about Chinese culture, calling it a “bi for life.
The inflammatory remarks were the result of back-and-forth results between U.S. Senator and Chen Weihua, head of the China Daily’s presidency of the European Union.
Blackburn initially thanked President Donald Trump for the U.S. decision to block imports of a large Chinese cotton producer produced by the forced labor of the Chinese Uighur ethnic minority.
“Thank you @realDonaldTrump for banning cotton produced by violent Uyghur work. The United States will not support companies that profit from slave labor, ”the Republican senator tweeted early Thursday morning.
