Dow on Track is the best month to complete in more than three decades

U.S. equities are well on track to make the November banner, the best month in more than 33 years for the Dow Jones Industrial Average, while investors look forward to Covid-19 vaccines halting the pandemic and new stimulus spending boosting the economy.

The blue-chip average fell 176 points, 0.6%, to 29,734 shortly after the opening bell. The index will remain at roughly 12% for the month.
