On Friday morning, Fauci confirmed that he had said yes. Speech on NBC News Today On the show, Fauci said he “accepted on the spot” Biden’s offer and supported Biden’s plan to ask all Americans to wear a mask for the first 100 days of the administration. Fauci had a rocky relationship with President Donald Trump during the pandemic and was forced to correct the president’s false claims about several coronaviruses.
