Florida duck hunters face “monster” alligator in quarry, video shows

Two Florida duck hunters had to wait patiently for their turn after noticing that a giant alligator had snatched their quarry in a swamp last week.

Kevin Stipe and Cass Couey, who own the PRO HUNT navigation app, posted a video on Facebook on Wednesday about what they called a “monster” gator. The video shows the reptile sneaking into an unsuspecting duck and running down the waterfowl while the men watch from a distance.

“Here, 2nd place of the day,” one man says in the video, which was made in Leesburg, about 45 miles northwest of Orlando. – All right, you feed, get out of here now.

Stipe told the Orlando FOX35 that the gator was about 13 feet long and would steal their ducks before the men had a chance to get their quarry out of the water.

The video received more than 722,000 views on Sunday.

“The duck in the background was just shocked when his friend was eaten, and then it was like I was fine before I left here,” one user wrote.

Another wrote, “The dinosaurs are coming back.”

Last week, a 74-year-old Florida man became infected after a video showed he rescued his 3-month-old puppy named Gunner from the jaws of a small gator – without his cigar falling too.

“We were just outside for a Sunday morning walk and we were walking along the edge of the lake,” Richard Wilbanks told Fox News. Suddenly an alligator came out from under the water and grabbed Gunner, headed back into the water, and swam with him.
