LAS VEGAS (KTNV) – Governor Steve Sisolak held a press conference on Sunday to provide an update on Nevada’s response to COVID-19.
Sisolak announced the extension of the “Nevada break” until January 15, 2021.
He also announced that a new residential eviction moratorium will be signed on December 14, which will run until March 2021.
According to Sisolak, the state is ready to deliver the vaccine: “The state team worked closely with our partners. There are plans to distribute the first distribution of Pfizer vaccine to our frontline health workers for immediate vaccination and to staff and residents. Our skilled nursing facilities as soon as possible.”
He made it very clear that if the situation in the state did not improve with COVID-19, additional mandates would have to be introduced.
