The General Services Administration informed Biden and his team on Monday that the Trump administration is ready to formally begin the transition process.
Biden said on Wednesday that President Trump had not personally stepped in since the election, although their chiefs of staff had spoken.
Trump has not yet accepted the presidential election. Biden currently leads the president with 306 voter votes, compared to Trump’s 232 voter votes, the Associated Press writes.
