LOS ANGELES (CBSLA) “A man was stabbed to death on Saturday morning in South Pasadena after allegedly breaking into his ex-girlfriend’s home.
The incident occurred around 10 a.m. in Block 530 on Five Oaks Drive, according to the Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department Information Office.
Police heard a fight between a man and a woman and broke into a home where a life-threatening injury had spotted a former friend on the ground.
Authorities said the man broke into the home using bricks and tried to strangle his ex-girlfriend, who was taken to hospital for facial injuries, police said.
The woman’s mother and sister responded to her defense, police said she was attacked with a knife and golf club, killed on the spot.
It is unclear whether family members who have taken fatal steps against the man, whose name is awaited until the next relatives are notified, will be charged.
