In a new interview, Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez tells Rolling Stone that while he and Bernie Sanders had no beer since he arrived at Capital Hill, he had the opportunity to find his input during his campaign.
This is not the first time Sanders has given the rookie congress, who worked on the 2016 presidential campaign, giving advice. In July 2018, after Ocasio-Cortez terminated the 10-year incubator Joe Crowley as a democratic primary, Sanders told CBS to "continue the nation" to continue what he did. "
"He was running an extraordinary campaign," Sanders said about the program. "And the reason for winning the ideas that were relevant to the people in your area was to build a strong root campaign and stop."
