BALTIMORE (WJZ) – The National Meteorological Service has issued a special weather statement for drivers in the state of Maryland. He warns that there will probably be icy roads on Thursday morning.
Wet roads from Wednesday are likely to be frosty in the morning.
Officials are asking Marylanders to stay home while the crew continues to clean the roads.
Maryland’s first winter storm brings snow, rain and rain; Refreeze is a concern
Anyone leaving your home this morning is asked to take care while driving. You need to give yourself more time to get to where you need to be.
Further minor snow and ice accumulations occur overnight, but most of the storm is over. However, rain temperatures can lead to increasingly icy roads, even in places where it has mostly rained. Take care overnight! pic.twitter.com/P8xnLNUirH

Even if you have to go out for a walk with your dog, be careful as sidewalks and driveways are slippery.
Although Thursday will be cold, meteorologist Tim Williams says the sun will help melt some of that frosty mess on the ground.
But then fresh freezing is a concern overnight.
There is a frosty mess on the ground that is gradually starting to melt today. The tempos rise above freezing and the sun melts the winter mixture. The temperature is expected to be high near 38 °. Be careful not to freeze everything that melts today overnight. The low point drops to 20 ° s pic.twitter.com/f3XqDA02zt
