James Woods plays Rudy Giulian in the TV movie “Unintentionally Funny”

Twitter has discovered a film in which actor James Woods plays Rudy Giuliani in a TV movie about the former mayor of New York.

Rudy: The Rudy Giuliani story elicited a pretty big reaction on the internet while Twitter users make fun of the poor production value and a particular scene in which a moonlit walk is found on a fake beach.

The film was released in 2003 and follows Giuliani’s response to the 9/11 terrorist attacks. The fact that Donald Trump’s personal attorney is portrayed by vocal Trump-backed Woods also proves to be very amusing – Woods even received an Emmy nomination for the role.

During the heavily shaken seaside scene, Giuliani and love interest Donna Hanover (played by Penelope Ann Miller) take a walk while discussing politics.

“I’m not too hiding,” Rudy tells Donna. – I mean, I’m not a hard ass, I’m not insensitive.

Then in terms of politics, he says, “New York can be great again, someone has to set a high standard. That’s what my father told me. My father and my other heroes are Winston Churchill, Bobby Kennedy.

“Democrats have always talked about improvement, Republicans have done everything they can to get better.”

The clip was shared Monday night by a Twitter user who tweeted, “This romantic moonlit scene in RUDY: THE RUDY GIULIANI STORY is absolutely murdered. I’m dead.”

While another person added, “I didn’t think 2020 had anything left to do (or could have taken away from us), but I was wrong because here’s a ripped clip from a 2003 film,“ Rudy: The Rudy Giuliani Story, ”starring James Woods. Rudy Giuliani and f ****** GOL D. “

Another could not avoid laughing on the spot at the dentist’s instruction.

“Thanks to the dentist, I have more stitches on my lips,” they tweeted. “I spent a few days not laughing to avoid the excruciating pain. I managed to pull it off. Then tonight I saw James Woods’ ridiculous depiction of Rudy Giuliani, and … the stitches are there.”

They added, “It’s the most inadvertently funny thing I’ve ever seen.”

“I wonder if James Woods is more confused [sic] that he played rudy giuliani like rudy giuliani was embarrassed that he played James Woods? “asked another Twitter user.

Another suggested that Woods sign up for the sequel: “James Woods must definitely continue with this sequel, which covers the period from 2002 to the present.”

Another Twitter user said the scene should have been included in the new one Borat a film starring Giuliani in a scene from a now infamous hotel room.

“This video, in which James Woods plays Rudy Giuliani, should have somehow been included in Borat: A Later Movie.”

Woods talked about taking on the role in an interview Entertainment Weekly In 2013.

“I captured the combing. It will never get away,” Giuliani said of her hair. “Luckily, the story only goes through in 2001, so we didn’t have to deal with the new one [slicked-back] watching. “
