Late, beloved Jeopardy! presenter Alex Trebek sent a message of thanks to America: “Keep the faith. We will go through all this and become a better society because of it. “
The game presentation tweeted a clip from today’s holiday Jeopardy! An episode of Trebek was made before his death in pancreatic cancer on November 8th.
As usual at the end of the show, Trebek, the direct address of the audience, his voice noticeably raspy and without explicit mention of the Covid-19 epidemic, says, “Happy Thanksgiving ladies and gentlemen. You know, despite what America and the rest of the world are experiencing right now, there are many reasons to be grateful. More and more people are giving a helping hand to kindness to their neighbors, and that’s a good thing. Stay true. We will go through all of this and become a better modality because of it. “
In the touching message that accompanies the tweeted video, the Jeopardy account notes, “It ranks at the top of the list of things we can be thankful for: Alex’s Thanksgiving message from today’s show. We hope you have a safe and happy Thanksgiving! “
According to the manufacturers of Jeopardy, Trebek glued 35 Jeopardy! episodes in the weeks before his death, which should broadcast episodes organized by the new Trebek at Christmas.
