Texas reported more than 15,000 new cases of coronavirus a day on Tuesday.

At least 9,028 people have been hospitalized across the state, according to the Texas State Department of Health. Last week was the first time the state has surpassed more than 9,000 new hospital treatments since the summer fatal epidemic.

It came the same day that Arizona reported more than 12,000 new cases of the new corona virus in a single day.


    • There have been more than 23,000 COVID-19-related deaths in Texas so far, the second highest in the United States, according to Johnson Hopkins.

The numbers come as the coronavirus multiplies across the country, with the United States reaching 15 million COVID-19 cases on Tuesday.
