MINNEAPOLIS (WCCO) – A Minnesota state patrol said a small plane crash landed Wednesday night on Interstate 35W, south of state 694.
The one-engine Bellanca Viking “made a suspicious emergency landing” in Arden Hills around 9:23 p.m., while striking a vehicle in the interstate. Officials say no one was injured.
The state patrol identified the pilot as 52-year-old Minneapolis Craig Gifford.
The northward part of the interstate is expected to be closed for several hours near the E2 county exit.
