Chuck Moran, executive director of the Pennsylvania Licensed Beverage and Tavern Association, said he found the announcement “bad news” for the industry, praising Wolf for exempting businesses from civil liability for those who abide by the mask rules. “But what we don’t get is why we didn’t get significant financial help to keep our small business restaurants and licensed restaurants alive,” he said in a statement. “As this crisis continues, more small businesses will close while their employees lose their jobs.”
