Police report details of the arrest at the Wisconsin Mall

WAUWATOSA, WIS. (AP) – Police are filling out more details about arrests last week in connection with a shooting at a shopping center in Wisconsin.

Wauwatos officers announced that Saturday’s officers had arrested a 15-year-old boy who they thought was a shooter and more people.

Sergeant Abby Pavlik said in an email to the press on Monday that the boy had been arrested during a traffic stop in Milwaukee and the mall’s suspicious gun had been found in the vehicle.

One of the passengers in the vehicle was also arrested.

A third person was also suspected of attending the incident but was arrested, but Pavlik did not provide details.

Investigators do not know if the shooting was related to a gang, but they are working with prosecutors on possible charges.
