BALTIMORE (KDKA) – Ravens defender Lamar Jackson allegedly tested positive for a coronavirus before Sunday’s match against the Steelers.
NFL Network Ian Rapoport reported Thursday that the Ravens starting quarterback had achieved a positive result. A positive coronavirus test means Jackson won’t be able to play on Sunday.

Thursday is the fourth straight day when Ravens had several positive cases in COVID-19.
ESPN’s Adam Schefter reported that four more Ravens players and one staff tested positive for the coronavirus on Thursday. According to Schefter, Sunday’s game is “underway for the time being, but the chances of that falling fast.”
Schefter also reports that Ravens head coach John Harbaugh told the team that no one will be allowed back into the facility by Monday at the earliest.
Four more Ravens players and one additional staff gave a positive result for COVID, the source tells ESPN.
Sunday’s game is still running for now, but game options are dwindling fast.

HC John Harbaugh was told by Ravens players today that they will be released back to the gym on Monday at the earliest for everyone’s safety, sources tell ESPN.
The Ravens are scheduled to play for the Steelers on Sunday, so this game doesn’t seem possible.

On Wednesday, the NFL announced that the Steelers-Ravens game, originally scheduled for Thanksgiving, would be postponed until Sunday at 1:15 p.m. due to an outbreak of the Baltimore corona virus.
A Ravens employee was also disciplined over the epidemic.
This isn’t the first time the Steelers ’game has been rescheduled due to opponents’ COVID-19 tests. They lost their first planned farewell week when the Tennesee Titans reported positive coronavirus cases.
