Southeast Houston killed 1, injured 3 after tipping over, police said

HOUSTON – Police say they are working to find out what caused the violent accident that killed a man in southeast Houston on Thursday.

Officers said a driver lost control and collided with a tree in El Dorado near Galveston Road at around 1:30 p.m. The 28-year-old driver has died, police said.

Investigators say three others who were in the truck are in critical condition but are expected to survive.

Police say it is unclear where the group came from or where they are going.
