MADISON, Wis. (AP) – A group has filed a lawsuit asking the Wisconsin Supreme Court to close the verification of the presidential election results.
A recount of President Joe Biden’s victory over President Donald Trump is underway.
A lawsuit filed by the Wisconsin Voters Association on Tuesday echoes many of the same arguments Trump argues for failing to try to discount tens of thousands of ballots during the recount.
At least 10 cases have been launched nationwide aimed at halting certification in all key battlefield states.
So far, none has been successful.
Wisconsin election results are scheduled to be confirmed on Dec. 1.
