The man fired at the restaurant on Needmore Road, a shooter

CLARKSVILLE, Tenn. (CLARKSVILLENOW) – A man was shot dead late Wednesday morning at New King Mao Restaurant on Needmore Road and a suspect is on the loose.

At about 12:45 p.m., Clarksville police conducted an investigation after the shooting and searched for a suspect who fled near Needmore Road and Union Hall Road before officers arrived. According to Detective Michael Patterson.

The victim was taken to hospital and his condition was unknown by Wednesday afternoon, Patterson said.

The suspect wore a black dress and a surgical-style mask. Anyone with information can call 911.

Witnesses on the Clarksville-Montgomery County Crimewatch Facebook page reported that the incident began around 10 a.m. to 50 p.m., and the shooting took place in the restaurant.

A number of businesses were glued to the research on Needmore Road near Wilma Rudolph Boulevard, which included Paddock Place Apartments.
