Golf superstar Tiger Woods was in surgery on Tuesday after suffering several leg injuries when the SUV he drove crashed and capsized in Los Angeles, authorities and his agent said.

Woods shook his stellar career in November 2009 when he collided with an early SUV in an early collision in a hydrant in front of his residence in Windermere, Florida at the time.
