Wyoming Governor Mark Gordon announced Wednesday that it is showing a positive result for the coronavirus.
An employee of the Wyoming State Capitol’s office of governor also gave a positive result. The office was closed on Tuesday for deep cleaning.
Republican Gordon said he wants to work remotely while being quarantined.
According to state data, nearly 26,700 Wyoming residents tested positive for the disease, and 215 deaths in the state were associated with COVID-19.
Gordon, less than two weeks ago, blew up some Wyoming residents as “knuckles” because he didn’t take the epidemic seriously.
“We have left people responsible, and they are irresponsible.” They think it’s kind of nonsense, ”he said then.
